TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan 2025 highlights Taiwan’s leadership in the AI and IoT era, bringing together over 250 global companies to showcase advanced technologies and sustainable, connected solutions for the future.
This morning (22 Oct 2025) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX), two of Taiwan’s premier technology events— the 51st Taipei International Electronics Industry Technology Exhibition (TAITRONICS) and the 8th Taiwan International Artificial Intelligence and IoT Exhibition (AIoT Taiwan)— officially opened, marking a major milestone in the nation’s technology landscape. Under the theme “AInnovation Now – Innovating with Artificial Intelligence, Acting Today,” the exhibitions brought together over 250 companies from 19 countries, featuring 460 booths and a series of high-profile activities that underscore Taiwan’s position as a global innovation hub.

Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), the events run from October 22 to 24, 2025. They attracted leading technology corporations including Delta Electronics, Dongyuan Electric, and Lingqun Computer, while also providing a platform for 27 international startup teams from 16 countries in the “Big Bang Startup Zone.” Covering sectors from photovoltaics and electronic components to sustainable energy solutions and cutting-edge AI-IoT applications, the exhibitions are held alongside the Taiwan Printed Circuit Board Industry International Exhibition (TPCA Show Taipei), forming a comprehensive technology festival attended by over 2,600 pre-registered visitors, including 725 international participants from 55 countries.

The opening ceremony commenced at 11 a.m. on Stage I, Level 1 of TaiNEX, with the presence of TAITRA Chairman James Huang, TEEMA Vice Chairman Shen Shanghong, and representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In his keynote, Chairman Huang highlighted TAITRONICS’ 51-year journey from a component manufacturing hub to a global technology powerhouse, emphasizing that AI and IoT now enable Taiwan not only to innovate but to shape the future. International attendees, including Hubert Gambs, Deputy Secretary-General of the European Commission, reinforced the spirit of global collaboration. The ceremony concluded with a ribbon-cutting and exhibition tour, opening the doors to advanced technology showcases.

This year’s exhibitions focus on six strategic themes: AI-IoT, intelligent robotics and automation, smart monitoring, green data centers, industrial IoT, and satellite communications. Key practical applications on display include AI-powered satellite imagery used in disaster response to save lives during last year’s Maui wildfires, AI-assisted predictive tools in Taiwanese hospitals for early stroke detection, and low-Earth-orbit satellite networks providing remote learning opportunities for children and telemedicine services for patients. The Smart Power Zone, organized by Dongyuan Electric and Delta Electronics, highlights energy-efficient solutions and carbon management systems, reflecting Taiwan’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions.

Beyond showcasing technology, the events serve as a hub for networking and knowledge exchange. The AIoT Taiwan Forum focuses on edge AI and space technology, featuring participation from Qualcomm, AWS, and Advantech. The Big Bang Startup Demo Day & Salon allows startups to present ideas and receive expert feedback, while the TECHIT TECHIE podcast series provides in-depth insights into emerging technology trends. The Big Bang Startup Zone features global startups demonstrating breakthrough innovations such as multi-language AI vision sensors and intelligent automation platforms, fostering cross-border collaboration opportunities.
Chairman James Huang emphasized that the “AInnovation Now” theme embodies Taiwan’s proactive role in shaping the future of technology rather than simply following trends. He noted that AI and IoT innovations not only enhance productivity but also address global challenges including climate change, workforce shortages, and an aging population. TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan 2025 will continue through October 24, offering abundant opportunities for networking, partnerships, and inspiration for the global technology community.
