AAA Four Diamond property becomes MBody’s first multi-year commercial partner in Florida, extending the company’s physical AI business beyond casino-resorts.
Highlights

  • First non-casino resort customer and first commercial account in Florida.
  • MBody will provide Caribe Royale Orlando physical AI hardware, service & its proprietary Orchestrator™ software.

LAS VEGAS and ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MBody AI Ltd. (“MBody AI” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: MBAI) today announced Caribe Royale Orlando as a new commercial partner. The AAA Four Diamond property is MBody’s first commercial resort partnership in Florida.

Proprietary MBody AI Orchestrator™ platform coordinates autonomous equipment from different manufacturers. The Company combines the software with deployment and ongoing service through its AI-as-a-Service model, which is built around multiyear subscriptions.

Caribe Royale Orlando brings the scale of a major convention destination together with the personal attention of an independently owned resort. Its AAA Four Diamond property features 1,217 one-bedroom suites, 120 two-bedroom villas and 260,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Eight dining venues, including The Venetian Chop House and Stadium Club, serve guests whose visits range from family vacations to large conferences.

Delivering a consistent experience across those settings takes a coordinated effort behind the scenes. The new relationship brings MBody AI’s offering to a resort where the quality of daily operations is part of the guest experience.

“Every part of Caribe Royale Orlando should reflect the care our team puts into a guest’s stay,” said Luciano Sperduto, Hotel Manager of Caribe Royale Orlando. “We’re thoughtful about the technology we bring into the resort. Working with MBody gives us the physical AI to support our team as we continue investing in the experience we deliver.”

“Caribe Royale Orlando combines the character of an independently owned resort with the scale of a major convention destination,” said John Fowler, Chief Executive Officer of MBody AI. “Luciano and his team understand that an exceptional guest experience depends on what happens behind the scenes. Our focus is helping them put physical AI to practical use in daily operations, supporting their people so they can devote more attention to the service that makes guests return while simultaneously lower their own operating costs.”

MBody’s proprietary AI Orchestrator platform coordinates autonomous equipment from multiple manufacturers, backed by deployment and ongoing service. Caribe Royale Orlando becomes MBody’s first resort partner that is not affiliated with a casino and first commercial deployment in Florida, extending its business beyond gaming. MBody’s strategy is to build lasting customer relationships by making Orchestrator useful across more of their operations. As customers add applications, they can address additional operating needs through a platform they already use, while MBody grows recurring software and service fees alongside the work it supports.

Announcement Highlights:

            (i)      First purchase order (PO) from a strategic AI Customer marks a key commercial milestone in the Company’s MicroLED optical interconnect business.

(ii)      PO includes a statement of work (SOW) for delivery of ultra high-performance MicroLED chips designed specifically for AI optical interconnects.

(iii)      Palomino is focusing on MicroLED performance, reliability and manufacturing supply chain to meet the current customer’s stringent design requirements.

GOLETA, Calif., Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Palomino Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: PALX) (“Palomino” or the “Company”), an artificial intelligence (AI) interconnect product company, today announced it has received its first purchase order (PO) from a strategic hyperscaler customer. The PO includes a statement of work (SOW) for the delivery of high-performance gallium nitride (GaN) MicroLED chips for optical interconnect applications within AI infrastructure.

The Company believes this initial PO represents validation of its core market thesis. Specifically, MicroLED technology originally designed for the display market is not optimized for optical interconnect applications and therefore must be engineered specifically for high-speed data. Subsequently, MicroLED chip performance must be tailored to AI data center link budgets and aligned to customer system requirements.

Under the SOW, Palomino expects to improve both nanomaterial and MicroLED design to increase output power and fiber coupling efficiency performance, consistent with the Company’s technical roadmap. All other MicroLED technical parameters from Palomino’s technology platform are compliant with the customer’s target requirements.

Jeffrey B. Shealy, Co-Founder and CEO, commented: “This first commercial PO from our hyperscaler customer is a significant corporate milestone for Palomino. It confirms that leading AI infrastructure customers recognize that MicroLEDs for optical interconnects must be engineered for bandwidth, reliability and efficiency driven by the AI market.” Mr Shealy continued, “This SOW aligns directly with our AI interconnect product roadmap, and we are executing with urgency to deliver technical performance while addressing the manufacturing supply chain required for volume production.”

Dr. Steven DenBaars, Co-founder and Director of Palomino Laboratories, Inc. and pioneer of GaN MicroLED technology, added: “MicroLEDs are a powerful device platform and optical interconnect architectures impose very different performance constraints relative to those for display applications. Palomino’s work is grounded in foundational GaN MicroLED innovation and protected by our IP portfolio that includes licence rights to University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) patents. This PO reflects growing customer recognition that novel material science and MicroLED device design are crucial to unlock the efficiency advantages needed for next-generation AI interconnects.”

Palomino believes the receipt of this first PO is consistent with, and supports, the Company’s previously stated objective that it would secure a development contract from a strategic AI customer in Q4 FY26. The Company expects this work will further strengthen customer engagement and accelerate progress toward MicroLED-enabled optical interconnect solutions for short-reach AI systems.

Largest funding round to date accelerates product innovation, transparent AI decisioning, and global expansion for commerce networks

Capital Raise Announcement Exchange Wire size (470 x 231 px)

DURHAM, North Carolina, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kevel, the ad tech infrastructure empowering commerce businesses to build media networks they own and grow, today announced $52 million in new capital, marking the largest capital raise in the company’s history. The financing includes expanded strategic investments from Fulcrum Equity Partners, dunnhumby Ventures LLC, Iberis Capital and additional growth capital from ORIX Corporation USA’s (“ORIX USA”) Growth Capital business.

Kevel’s total capital raised now exceeds $100 million, reflecting strong demand for its technology across the retail and commerce media industry. The continued support of investors like dunnhumby, the retail media arm of Tesco, reflects growing momentum behind retailer-owned media ecosystems. Dunnhumby’s recent launch of the Dunnhumby Network Alliance (DNA), built in partnership with Kevel, also demonstrates an increase in industry-wide initiatives like this to drive greater scale and connectivity across retail media networks.

Kevel’s API-first architecture gives retailers, marketplaces and commerce platforms the flexibility to build media businesses around their own customers, data and growth strategies. As commerce media enters its next stage of maturity, businesses are shifting focus from launching to scaling media networks, requiring infrastructure capable of supporting omnichannel activation and AI-powered decisioning.

“Commerce media is entering a new era, one defined by ownership, transparency, and AI-driven infrastructure built around the business rather than intermediaries,” said James Avery, Founder & CEO, Kevel. “To keep commerce media open and competitive, businesses must own their monetization and data. This raise enables us to scale the technology retailers and marketplaces need to build differentiated media networks, drive sustainable growth, and compete head-to-head with the largest platforms.”

Kevel is the leading commerce media platform, trusted by over 100+ commerce media networks, including Tesco, Dollar General Media Networks, John Lewis Partnership, Paypal, Scandinavian Airlines, Home Depot’s Orange Apron Media, Nubank, and more, across North America, Europe, LATAM, and APAC. Kevel has a commitment to powering independent, privacy-first media networks for retailers, marketplaces and commerce platforms so they can compete with the walled gardens on their own terms.

“Kevel has built an impressive, highly differentiated platform that enables customers to rapidly launch and scale retail media businesses tailored to their unique brands and audiences,” said Blake Zhang, Managing Director in ORIX USA’s Growth Capital business. “As the market continues to expand across on-site, off-site, in-store and other emerging channels, we believe Kevel is well positioned to help customers navigate that growing complexity and scale across an increasingly broad ecosystem. We are excited to partner with James and the Kevel team as they continue to innovate and help shape the next generation of retail media.”

The investment reinforces Kevel’s position as the API-first infrastructure layer for AI-enabled commerce media, built on a simple principle: AI that retailers can see into, control, and trust. As AI becomes increasingly central to media monetization, retailers need real visibility into how decisions are made and confidence that those decisions align with their business goals. Kevel’s transparent AI shows exactly how and why every ad decision is made, so retailers can prove performance to advertisers, protect the shopper experience, and keep full ownership of their data and models.

“Kevel’s continued investment in building cutting-edge infrastructure and AI to power commerce media networks is truly incredible,” commented Philip Lewis, Partner, Fulcrum Equity Partners. “We are thrilled to continue investing to ensure that Kevel has the resources to support the complex needs of our partners.”

The funding will accelerate Kevel’s next stage of growth, with transparent AI at the center of its product roadmap. The company will continue developing its AI decisioning and optimization capabilities so that every ranking, bid and placement decision is explainable, auditable and configurable by retailers. The company will also expand globally into new retail and commerce media categories and deepen its strategic advisory services, helping retailers at every stage of maturity put AI to work without giving up visibility or control.

Cafferty & Company, an independent debt advisory firm, served as the sole advisor to Kevel on the transaction.

About Kevel

Kevel powers top retail and commerce media networks globally. Kevel helps businesses build a media network around its unique goals. This enables them to create differentiated media experiences, unlock new revenue streams, and scale in an AI-first world. Built API-first, Kevel combines the speed of buying with the control of building. Companies can use Kevel’s transparent AI or bring their own data and models, giving them the flexibility to evolve their media business as customers, advertisers, and market opportunities change. The result is a media network that launches quickly, adapts continuously, and scales revenue over time. For more information, visit kevel.com.

Chicago advanced technology company plans 30 new jobs and builds Prometheus forecasting software around human expertise, measurable results, and security, stability and trust

CHICAGO, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — CCMC Advanced Technologies Inc., a Chicago-based research and technology company, has executed an Economic Development for a Growing Economy (EDGE) Agreement with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). The agreement defines an investment of $2.4 million into an underserved area of Chicago to further establish the city as a hub for innovation while simultaneously creating at least 30 new jobs and supporting CCMC’s growth in the region with an estimated EDGE tax-credit value of $1,919,244.

View DCEO’s Official EDGE Agreements Page

CCMC views the partnership and the initial hirings as the starting point of its Illinois workforce ambitions. As commercialization, customer demand, and work across government and strategically important industries grows, the company intends to create even more jobs to support its expanding operations. “Thirty jobs is where this commitment begins,” said Mario I. Tovar, Jr., President and CEO of CCMC. “We want to build careers while we responsibly establish ourselves as the next big tech company here in Illinois and take full advantage of the opportunity we have been given.”

Building the Next Generation

CCMC has already begun a working partnership with a local Chicago university, Governors State University, and hopes it becomes the beginning of a broader academic network. CCMC and GSU have developed concepts involving academic investigation and independent review of predictive forecasting technologies, including research design, statistical review, reproducibility, and limitations. CCMC hopes to work with more universities to share appropriate research, expose students to emerging predictive technologies, and help identify future skills, coursework, internships, research opportunities, and career pathways. Caleb Williams, CTO at CCMC stated, “We are very grateful for our relationship with GSU. We hope it is the first of many. If we are building technology for the future, we should help prepare people for that future too.”

Future Expansion

CCMC’s expansion strategy will begin in Illinois before expanding across the United States. Its patent-backed intellectual-property portfolio and international PCT filing support a pathway to seek patent protection in additional markets as the company grows. CCMC intends to coordinate with appropriate Illinois economic-development resources, including DCEO and its Office of Trade and Investment, as it evaluates international opportunities. Initial interests include Austria and the EU, followed by Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and others.

About CCMC Advanced Technologies Inc.

CCMC Advanced Technologies Inc. is a deep-tech company developing novel, next-generation machine learning and advanced data analytics technologies for government agencies and strategically important industries. Its core product, Prometheus, is a patent-backed predictive intelligence platform designed to identify emerging risks, evaluate scenarios, and help organizations make better-informed decisions backed by evidence and measurable data. CCMC is pursuing U.S. government R&D and validation pathways for technological innovations while advancing a defensible U.S. and international intellectual-property backed commercialization strategy. The company is focused on responsible innovation, efficient computing, evidence-based decision support, and delivering long-term economic and public value.

A New Generational Technology Company

CCMC is being built at a time when many Americans are questioning the ethical direction of artificial intelligence within the tech-industry, with concerns over privacy, job security, increased utility costs, energy demands, data centers, and potential environmental impacts taking center stage in public discourse. CCMC takes those concerns very seriously; the company hopes to establish a higher ethical standard for advanced technology built around human expertise, measurable results, and a commitment to security, stability and trust. Tovar stated, “We want CCMC to demonstrate that ambitious innovation can exist alongside investments in the public good. Success at the cost of the community is not acceptable.”

Completes Initial Stage of Phase I, Gemini-II-powered platform meets 90% detection accuracy requirement

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GSI Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIT), the developer of Associative Processing Unit (APU) technology for high-performance, energy-efficient AI computing, today announced the successful completion and acceptance of the initial stage of Phase I of its Smart Eye Guardian project with the Hsinchu County government in Taiwan.

The project, awarded in May 2026, represents GSI’s first Smart City deployment of its Gemini-II APU. Developed under the project name Hawkeye, the Company’s AI-powered video analytics platform has begun live monitoring of selected surveillance cameras in Hsinchu County. The initial on-prem server installation, supporting 20 cameras, was completed following successful passage of the County’s mandated cybersecurity review.

Powered by GSI’s Gemini-II APU, the platform uses AI-based video analytics to continuously monitor surveillance feeds, identify potential public safety incidents and alert operators to events requiring attention. By helping operators distinguish significant events from routine activity, the system is designed to improve situational awareness, reduce the burden of manual video monitoring and support faster response to emerging incidents.

During the initial deployment, the system achieved Hsinchu County’s mandated 90% detection accuracy while subsequent optimization reduced false alerts to levels meeting the County’s requirements. The performance improvement enabled the platform to pass the County’s acceptance testing and advance to live monitoring.

“Successful acceptance of the initial stage of Phase I and the commencement of live monitoring represent important milestones in bringing Gemini-II into real-world applications,” said Lee-Lean Shu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GSI Technology. “We are particularly encouraged by the system’s initial accuracy and low false-alert rate, which are important measures of effectiveness in public safety applications. With the platform now operating in a live environment and having passed the required cybersecurity review, we are demonstrating the practical capabilities of our APU technology while continuing to advance our commercialization strategy.”

GSI expects to complete Phase I of the Smart Eye Guardian project in its entirety by December 2026. The initial phase includes the development and deployment of an AI-powered video analytics platform supporting an installed base of 20 surveillance cameras, with capabilities designed to detect and monitor public safety events, including traffic incidents, fires, hazards and suspicious activity.

As previously announced, subsequent phases of the Smart City program, if awarded, could expand deployment of the platform to approximately 80 cameras, with the longer-term objective of extending AI monitoring across additional public safety locations throughout Hsinchu County. In addition, subsequent phases, if awarded, are expected to introduce Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) functionality. The project is also intended to provide a reference deployment for potential Smart City opportunities in other municipalities.

Forward-Looking Statements

The statements contained in this press release that are not purely historical are forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, including statements regarding GSI Technology’s expectations, beliefs, intentions, or strategies regarding the future. All forward-looking statements included in this press release are based upon information available to GSI Technology as of the date hereof, and GSI Technology assumes no obligation to update any such forward-looking statements. Forward-looking statements involve a variety of risks and uncertainties, which could cause actual results to differ materially from those projected.

The Phase I contract award represents an initial-stage engagement, and there can be no assurance that GSI Technology will complete Phase I of the Smart Eye Guardian project by December 2026 or at all, that the remaining Phase I deliverables will be accepted by the Hsinchu County government, or that GSI Technology will receive payments under Phase I when expected or at all. The detection accuracy, false-alert rates and other performance levels achieved during the initial deployment may not be maintained during continued live monitoring or in larger deployments. There can be no assurance that GSI Technology will be awarded subsequent phases of the Smart City program or that ASR functionality will be introduced, and expansion of the system to approximately 80 cameras or to additional public safety locations throughout Hsinchu County is dependent on the award of subsequent phases, which may not occur as planned or at all. The Smart Eye Guardian project may not serve as a reference deployment for Smart City opportunities in other municipalities. Additionally, GSI Technology’s actual results could differ materially from those projected in the forward-looking statements as a result of a number of factors, including those associated with fluctuations in its operating results; its historical dependence on sales to a limited number of customers and fluctuations in the mix of customers and products in any period; its dependence on contracts with government customers, including foreign government customers, which may be subject to delays, changes in scope, funding constraints or termination; cybersecurity incidents or failures affecting its systems or deployments; the rapidly evolving markets for its products and uncertainty regarding the development of these markets; the need to develop and introduce new products to offset the historical decline in the average unit selling price of its products; the challenges of rapid growth followed by periods of contraction; intensive competition; the continued availability of government funding opportunities; and delays or unanticipated costs that may be encountered in the development of new products based on its in-place associative computing technology and the establishment of new markets and customer and partner relationships for the sale of such products. Many of these risks are currently amplified by, and will continue to be amplified by, or in the future may be amplified by, economic and geopolitical conditions, such as changing interest rates, worldwide inflationary pressures, policy unpredictability, the imposition of tariffs and other trade barriers, military conflicts, geopolitical tensions involving Taiwan and a challenging global economic environment. These risks are discussed in more detail in GSI Technology’s most recently filed Annual Report on Form 10-K, its Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q and its other reports filed from time to time with the SEC. You are urged to review carefully and consider GSI Technology’s various disclosures in this press release and in its reports publicly disclosed or filed with the SEC that attempt to advise you of the risks and factors that may affect its business.

New program aims to build AI capacity and support knowledge sharing for nonprofit professionals across Canada

TORONTO, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Human Feedback Foundation (HFF), with support from RBC, today announced the Agentic AI Design Exchange – the first national program to help Canadian nonprofits responsibly design, build and deploy their own dedicated AI agents.

The goal of the program is to boost productivity and encourage safe, strategic adoption of AI agents to achieve organizational objectives. The Exchange will be funded by a community investment from RBC, provided through the RBC Stronger Nonprofits Program, designed to help strengthen Canada’s nonprofit sector amid unprecedented strain and surging service demands.

Built on a proven methodology from Professor Mihnea Moldoveanu (Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto), the program is also supported by community partners such as the Rotman Business Design Initiative, Imagine Canada and the Canadian Centre for Nonprofit Digital Resilience (CCNDR).

“Nonprofits are the backbone of communities across Canada, and many Canadians rely on nonprofits to catch them when things fall apart, yet too many are still working with clipboards in a computer world,” said Elena Yunusov, Executive Director and Founder of the Human Feedback Foundation. “When used strategically and responsibly, AI can multiply what nonprofits already do best and better support the communities they serve. This community investment from RBC builds capacity that compounds right when the sector needs it most.”

The Agentic AI Design Exchange will build on the success of the HFF’s Responsible AI for Social Impact (RAISE) program, the first national initiative to educate Canadian nonprofits on how to design and deploy AI solutions safely and responsibly. Leveraging lessons learned from RAISE, The Agentic AI Design Exchange will use proven methodology and a human-centred design approach to help cohort teams identify a real community need and develop an AI agent to address it. Teams will build fairness, accountability and human oversight into their designs from the start. Select designs will then be added to an open, Creative Commons-licensed library, giving other nonprofits the opportunity to learn from and build on the work.

The Agentic AI Design Exchange comes at a critical time for the nonprofit community in Canada and other nations. According to a recent Global AI Pulse survey from KPMG, the use of AI in the private sector has evolved far beyond question-answer interactions, with nearly six in ten large organizations currently deploying or scaling AI agents. Furthermore, a 2026 Imagine Canada and CCNDR benchmark points to limited use of AI amongst Canadian nonprofits. It shows that only 20 per cent of these organizations are using AI for more than three activities and most Canadian nonprofits have no formal AI policy. The nonprofit sector has yet to figure out how to safely and responsibly leverage AI agents to amplify social impact.

“Canada’s nonprofits are under significant strain, being asked to do more than ever, and funding alone isn’t enough,” said Andrea Barrack, SVP of Sustainability & Impact, RBC. “Through the RBC Stronger Nonprofits Program, we’re helping organizations build the capacity, skills and confidence needed to embrace new AI tools responsibly so they can spend more time and resources creating impact in their communities.”

With support from HFF and RBC, nonprofits in Canada will have access to a new resource for accelerating the benefits of AI for employees, volunteers and the communities they serve.

The first cohort of nonprofits supported by the Agentic AI Design Exchange are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2026. Learn more at https://humanfeedback.io/.

About the Human Feedback Foundation: The Human Feedback Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian nonprofit and a member of the Linux Foundation AI & Data. It helps nonprofits adopt AI responsibly and builds a public commons for AI governance. Its RAISE (Responsible AI for Social Impact) initiative now spans an accelerator with the Creative Destruction Lab, the Agentic AI Design Exchange, and AI literacy training with The Dais. HFF also founded and runs AI Tinkerers Toronto, a community of 6,000+ AI/ML engineers, builders, and entrepreneurs.

Lens joins the Thought Industries Academy to form the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, turning fragmented customer and product knowledge into trusted guidance everywhere customers and AI agents look for answers

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Thought Industries today launched Lens, a first-of-its-kind AI product, and unveiled the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, creating a breakthrough way for businesses to help customers succeed with their products.

Customer and product leaders face a growing problem: customer knowledge lives in silos across systems and teams, while AI is now everywhere customers look for guidance. Every tool can answer fast. Not every tool answers right. When answers contradict each other or fall out of date, customers get stuck, trust erodes and product adoption slows, putting retention and growth at risk. That’s the exact challenge Thought Industries is solving with its new platform.

Unveiling the Customer Knowledge AI Platform

The Thought Industries Customer Knowledge AI Platform brings fragmented customer knowledge together so businesses can deliver trusted, accurate guidance wherever customers and AI agents need it. At the core of the platform is a proprietary governed AI knowledge layer that gives businesses visibility into what they know, the ability to reconcile conflicting or outdated information, and control over what can be trusted. It works quickly and proactively, before guidance reaches customers and AI agents across the systems businesses already use. Nothing to move. Nothing to rebuild.

Rather than relying on existing approaches alone –– such as MCP connectors, AI built into individual systems and other AI tools that primarily find and access existing information –– Thought Industries’ Customer Knowledge AI Platform breaks down knowledge silos across scattered sources, governing what customers and AI agents can rely on. That trusted and accurate guidance can then be delivered everywhere, while every interaction makes the knowledge behind the next one better.

“AI agents are only as smart as the context behind them. When every agent is working from a different version of product knowledge, they can simply spread wrong answers faster,” said Irana Wasti, CEO of Thought Industries. “AI made answers abundant. Now the problem is knowing what to trust when the sources don’t agree. Search and retrieval alone can find information, but they don’t resolve conflicts between sources. Our Customer Knowledge AI Platform does. When customers get what they need to succeed with a product, they use more, buy more and stay longer.”

Introducing Lens: AI Agents That Put Customer Knowledge to Work

To launch its Customer Knowledge AI platform, Thought Industries is introducing Lens, the first AI solution purpose-built to eliminate fragmented customer knowledge and accelerate product adoption. Powered by knowledge agents, Lens connects, governs and continuously improves customer knowledge, delivering trusted guidance and intelligent actions wherever customers and AI agents need them. Together with Thought Industries Academy, Lens is the pivotal AI solution needed to form the Customer Knowledge AI Platform and break the knowledge silos holding customers back, once and for all.

“Often the information a user is searching for lives in different systems, not just our courseware,” said Clyde Seepersad, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Education at The Linux Foundation. “We’re excited to put Lens to work. It will bring that knowledge together and make it useful wherever our customers are looking for help, including through AI. Most importantly, we maintain control over the information being surfaced while also learning from the questions customers are asking. That gives us a much clearer picture of what customers need, where they’re getting stuck and how we can help them get more value from our products.”

How Lens works:

  • Connect sources instantly. Lens instantly plugs into the knowledge sources businesses already have, from their academy and product documentation to the help center, blog and more. Those sources stay where they are. No technical projects needed.
  • Agents resolve and govern. Lens knowledge agents work across what businesses know about their customers, what customers need to know about the product, and what businesses learn from their questions. They surface contradictions, apply governance rules that users set in plain language and help keep guidance accurate and current as products change.
  • Deliver trusted guidance everywhere. Lens makes that guidance available wherever customers and AI agents acting for them need it –– whether inside the product, in the academy, through support, on the web or in their AI tool of choice. It adapts to the moment, from a quick reply or walkthrough to a video or deeper learning. Lens agents can also take the next step and complete workflows.
  • See and learn from every interaction. With Lens, customer questions don’t disappear into an AI black box. Every question and interaction feeds back into the knowledge layer, showing where customers are getting stuck, where gaps exist and how well answers are working. That helps improve what customers get next.

Together, these capabilities create a closed loop: every interaction improves the knowledge behind the next one.

With the launch of Lens and the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, Thought Industries is moving beyond traditional customer education to help businesses turn fragmented knowledge into a competitive advantage. By delivering trusted, intelligent guidance wherever customers learn, ask, and act, Thought Industries is helping businesses accelerate product adoption, deepen customer relationships, and drive growth through the success of their customers.

Lens is available now in Beta. To learn more about Lens and the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, please visit: www.thoughtindustries.com/lens

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The U.S. Navy and GSA have quadrupled the ceiling value on Gecko Robotics‘ contract for slashing maintenance delays and improving fleet readiness to $300 million, just six months after an initial $71m IDIQ contract award. This fourfold expansion will accommodate rapid robotic deployment across the Navy and is one of the strongest public endorsements yet of operational AI and robotics in defense, signaling the Pentagon’s confidence that it is a core military capability that is delivering results, not experimental technology.

Gecko’s AI and robotic technology can save the U.S. Navy up to $8 million in repair costs per ship and return vessels to sea quicker by identifying structural issues up to 50 times faster than traditional methods—reducing inspections from months to days.

Central to the expansion is Komodo, a proprietary Gecko robotic technology system. Komodo scans through thick, non-skid deck coatings without stripping or damaging them, giving the Navy the ability to see the health of assets without taking it apart. It produces a full-deck heatmap of corrosion and material thickness, enabling repair teams to pinpoint damage and plan work before a ship enters drydock, which was previously possible only after maintenance had begun.

“The conversation around AI and robotics in defense is no longer about experimental technology. It’s about delivering measurable and impactful returns,” said Jake Loosararian, co-founder and CEO of Gecko Robotics. “With savings of millions of dollars per ship, months of inspections turning into days and warships returning to sea faster, the U.S. Navy is demonstrating to the world how to deploy technology at scale. We’re proud to give our servicemembers the tools they need to stay ahead of emerging threats.”

The ceiling increase comes as the Department of the Navy places greater emphasis on fleet readiness as a national security priority as every additional day a warship spends in maintenance reduces its ability to deter adversaries, respond to crises, and project power around the world. The Chief of Naval Operations has set a target of 80% fleet readiness, which Gecko will have a crucial role in helping to meet.

Gecko’s wall-climbing robots, drones, and fixed-sensors collect an unprecedented amount of data on the health of U.S. Navy ships and submarines, including components, hulls, decks and welds, with AI being used to create accurate models to identify any current and future structural issues, even ones that cannot be seen by the human eye.

About Gecko Robotics
Gecko Robotics combines advanced robotics and AI-powered software to build, operate and modernize the world’s most critical infrastructure.

Using robots that climb, crawl, fly and swim, Gecko is able to collect an unprecedented amount of data on the built world, whether that’s with Fortune 100 companies in energy, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors around the world, or the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy to protect and optimize nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers.

Through our AI-powered platform, Cantilever, Gecko transforms the massive datasets collected by robots into actionable insights that enable data-driven, evidence-based decisions on structures, delivering an ROI for customers.

Canadian company recognized for technology that automates and swarms ultra-heavy-lift drones for wildfire response

SQUAMISH, British Columbia, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FireSwarm Solutions, a Canadian company that develops dual-use technology to automate drones for fire suppression and critical logistics, has been named to Cleantech Group’s 2026 Cleantech 50 to Watch. The annual list spotlights the early-stage companies best positioned to shape the next wave of cleantech innovation.

Selected through nominations and votes from Cleantech Group’s expert panel, this year’s 50 honorees span 12 countries. Canada is the second-most represented country with 11 companies, behind only the U.S.

FireSwarm was recognized in the list’s extreme heat resilience theme. Coming off a summer of punishing heat waves, Cleantech Group expects 2027 to be the year extreme heat resilience becomes a category of its own. Cleantech Group’s report notes that while wildfire detection has matured, resilience now depends on better suppression technology at the peak-burn stage. FireSwarm is one of three companies on the list it highlights as ready to address fires once they’ve broken out.

“Being named to the Cleantech 50 to Watch is a strong signal that wildfire suppression is now seen as core climate infrastructure, not just emergency response,” said Alex Deslauriers, CEO of FireSwarm Solutions. “Detection tells us where a fire is. The real gap is helping crews act earlier, whether that means supporting mobilization or delivering suppressant, often in conditions too dangerous for crewed aircraft. Automated swarms of ultra-heavy-lift drones will help extend firefighting into nighttime and low-visibility conditions.”

FireSwarm’s technology is designed to work across drone sizes, makes and models, automating swarms matched to each mission that can operate when traditional aircraft and crews are grounded. The company continues to advance its autonomous swarm technology, with AI at the core of its roadmap.

This year’s list arrives as Cleantech Group describes a shift from the “green premium” to a “sovereignty premium,” with buyers and investors prioritizing energy, supply and climate security. “With certainty, we’ve exited the days of the green premium,” said Anthony DeOrsey, Research Manager at Cleantech Group. “We’re now firmly entering the age of the sovereignty premium that is likely to define the late 2020s.”
