For centuries, the way the world builds has barely changed. We built ICON to change that. From the largest construction-scale robots on Earth to the systems that will build humanity’s first structures on the Moon. A new era of construction has begun.

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 13, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ICON, the global leader in advanced construction technology, today announced its $200 million Series D financing co-led by Baillie Gifford and funds managed by BlackRock with participation from Capital Factory, CAZ Investments,, Moderne Ventures, Moonshots Capital, Norwest, Overmatch, The Syndicate, Tiger Global, among others. The financing will fuel the manufacturing and deployment of ICON’s robotic construction systems, open a large-scale R&D facility in Austin, Texas, advance its next-generation construction technologies, including Titan and Olympus, and rapidly expand ICON’s footprint across Texas, Florida, Washington D.C., and new U.S. markets.

“When we started ICON, we believed intelligent machines could fundamentally change the way the world builds. What the last decade taught us is that belief only matters if you can back it with real structures, real deployments, and real demand. We have all three,” said Jason Ballard, co-founder and CEO of ICON. “Construction automation has crossed from potential into proven reality. This round puts that reality in builders’ hands: more Titan systems deployed across the country, deeper capability in housing, commercial, and defense, and continued work on the technology that will one day build humanity’s first structures beyond Earth. I believe we can imagine an end to the global housing crisis in our lifetime. We are grateful to the partners, builders, and investors who believed in this mission long enough to see it arrive.”

“The industries hardest to change often have the most to gain, and the companies that transform them tend to become some of the most important of their generation,” said Luke Ward, Private Companies Investment Manager at Baillie Gifford. “ICON’s construction system is compelling not just for its technology, but because it works with, rather than against, the business realities that shape a project’s success. With it, builders can take on more work, owners can get better value for money, and communities can get more of what they need, sooner. As long-term investors, we look for exactly this kind of big opportunity for our clients, paired with patient, compounding execution, and we’re leading this round to support Jason and the team as they introduce this capability to the wider industry.”

Construction is a $16 trillion global industry that has barely changed in half a century, leaving the U.S. roughly 4 million homes short of demand today. At the same time, the workforce that built the last century of housing is aging out: just 10% of U.S. construction workers are under 25, and 41% of the current workforce is expected to retire by 2031.* This structural crisis is one of the most consequential of our generation, and one ICON exists to solve.

Today, the way humanity builds is fundamentally changing. This new era of construction is defined by intelligent machines, advanced building materials, and a digitally native approach designed to work together to build faster, at lower cost, and with significantly higher building performance.

The Series D financing will initiate the production and manufacturing of Titan, ICON’s multi-story robotic construction system, at the ICON factory located in Austin, Texas. The innovative print system is engineered to reduce the construction time of an average home by six weeks at 40% lower cost than the national average.** FormCrete, ICON’s proprietary building material for 3D-printing, is engineered to deliver walls rated for 175+ mph wind versus 40 mph for traditional stick frames, and a 2+ hour fire rating versus 0.5 hours for conventional construction. ICON’s vertical integration across robotics, software, advanced building materials, and building design is what enables the platform’s efficiency and scalability.

ICON presently operates three primary business units: Build, Tech, and Prime. Build is the foundation of everything ICON delivers, from resilient residential homes to commercial and hospitality buildings constructed with advanced robotic systems and materials. Tech is the engine powering a unified construction platform engineered to operate as one system, equipping builders to deliver structures faster, more sustainably, and at lower cost. Prime is ICON’s dedicated defense and space division, deploying robotic construction systems to rebuild military readiness, strengthen national security infrastructure, and extend human presence beyond Earth. These distinct divisions reflect the company’s evolution from proving a home-building technology to scaling a platform. ICON’s expansion creates new opportunities for top talent to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the most consequential reinvention of the built environment in a generation.

ICON is on pace for 4x revenue growth in 2026. The company has built more than 270 homes and structures across five states and two countries, including Wolf Ranch in Georgetown, Texas, the world’s first and largest community of 3D-printed homes, built with Lennar, more than a hundred homes for people experiencing homelessness in the U.S. through Community First! Village in Austin, and military installations for the U.S. Army. In January 2026, ICON broke ground on 10 barracks at Fort Bliss, the largest deployment of robotic construction technology in Department of War history and the first additively manufactured structures to meet the Pentagon’s Unified Facilities Criteria. ICON Prime has been awarded more than $370 million in government contracts and continues to advance Project Olympus with NASA, developing the construction systems that will build on the Moon.

As Wall Street accelerates toward tokenization, Mapstone takes a different approach to digital ownership, combining address collecting, housing-market data and on-chain rewards to lay the foundation for new uses of blockchain technology

NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mapstone, a blockchain-native platform, is now live on Ethereum, connecting physical street addresses and U.S. postal codes with digital assets people can collect and trade. Users can compete for monetary rewards based on real-world housing-market performance and earn royalties from activity tied to those locations.

The launch comes as financial institutions expand their use of blockchain to represent and transfer assets. Citi Institute projects that tokenized financial assets could reach $5.5 trillion by 2030. In August, BlackRock introduced two new tokenized money-market products, including a share class recorded on Ethereum. These developments extend blockchain technology beyond digital currencies and into traditional financial markets.

But one of the world’s largest asset classes still presents significant challenges for tokenization: real estate. A recent article published by the American Bar Association highlights obstacles including connecting blockchain records with legally recognized property ownership and existing recording systems.

A Different Approach to Digital Ownership

Mapstone approaches that opportunity by exploring a different use for the technology, built around something familiar to everyone: physical addresses.

Rather than beginning by tokenizing buildings, Mapstone starts with geography itself, giving physical addresses a unique digital identity on the blockchain. The platform connects those identities with housing-market data, smart contracts and programmable on-chain economics.

Unlike conventional collections built around a preselected set of items, Mapstone draws from the physical world itself. Users can search for any address and have a corresponding non-fungible token (NFT) created on demand on the Ethereum blockchain, a process known as minting. The token serves as a digital identifier for that location, with its creation recorded on-chain. Each location can be minted only once, limiting the supply to one token per address. People can build a portfolio around places that matter to them or markets they follow, without acquiring ownership of the underlying property.

“When I first explored NFTs, I saw the potential for them to do so much more than display artwork,” said Laura Corbett, Co-Founder of Mapstone Labs, who leads the company’s technology and product development. “My goal was to utilize the underlying functionality behind NFTs and on-chain ownership to create something people could actively participate in. Growing up, I always enjoyed the excitement and strategy of collecting properties and earning rent in a popular board game we all know and love. I wanted to bring that familiar appeal to actual addresses, using blockchain technology to connect ownership, competition and rewards. That idea became Mapstone.”

Putting Location-Based Assets to Use

The platform offers two types of digital assets: Address NFTs tied to individual street addresses and Neighborhood NFTs tied to U.S. postal codes.

Mapstone’s real estate strategy game, Address Quest™ v1.0, turns address collecting into a competition based on real-world housing market performance. Participants earn or lose points on eligible Address NFTs they hold, based on monthly percentage changes in U.S. home values within each address’s postal code. With Zillow’s Home Value Index (ZHVI) as the current data source, the strategy involves researching local housing markets, choosing where to collect and deciding when to trade.

The prize pool has a funding target of 10,000 ether (ETH), Ethereum’s native cryptocurrency. It grows through a share of mint proceeds and sales on the Mapstone Marketplace, with its balance publicly visible on-chain. Once the pool can fund the full payout structure, prizes will be distributed to the top 1,000 players based on their final leaderboard rankings, following winner verification.

Neighborhood NFTs add another use for location-based digital assets, connecting digital ownership of a U.S. postal code with activity tied to addresses within that area. Owners receive 10% of the proceeds from every Address NFT minted within that postal code, plus 1% of their resale value on the Mapstone Marketplace. Royalties are paid automatically in ETH to the owner’s Web3 wallet.

The platform also offers a referral program that pays a 5% commission in ETH whenever someone mints an NFT through a participant’s referral link.

From Geographic Activity to Real-World Intelligence

As Mapstone grows, minting and trading could reveal geographic demand patterns for its digital assets. The company plans to explore how that activity, combined with real-world location and market information, can support new analytics and help identify where blockchain-native demand intersects with real-world opportunities.

“We see NFTs as a starting point: the ownership infrastructure for a much larger geographic platform,” said William Corbett, Co-Founder of Mapstone Labs, who leads business operations and financial strategy. “Our longer-term ambition is to turn activity on Mapstone into analytics that can shape real estate research, investment decisions and broader real-world asset strategies.”

Mapstone Asset Management (Mapstone AM) is a separate planned initiative that will combine those insights with market research and traditional underwriting to guide real estate investments. Its initial strategy is to use company capital to acquire and manage assets in selected markets. Over time, the company plans to offer its community opportunities to invest in tokenized real estate portfolios through separate investment offerings, subject to applicable eligibility and regulatory requirements.

Set your planning window, generate and compare scenarios side by side in the 360 view, and commit the one that fits best.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Oct. 13, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Floating Fleet AI® (FFAI), a provider of transparent AI scheduling and planning solutions for aviation operators, will debut its agentic scheduling workflow at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), taking place October 20–22, 2026, in Las Vegas.

As charter demand, operating costs, and schedule disruption put increasing pressure on fleet performance, operators need to make more of every aircraft and crew hour. FFAI’s new workflow helps teams evaluate scheduling options over a chosen planning window, giving them a faster way to balance service, cost, and capacity.

The workflow uses FFAI’s proprietary optimization agents to generate and compare schedule scenarios, then presents the trade-offs side by side so schedulers can decide quickly. Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, which can generate suggestions that break operational rules, FFAI’s optimization agents treat real-world constraints as hard rules, so every scenario is feasible by construction, and they show why each change is proposed. Operators can see the schedule across aircraft and crew, understand the rationale and projected impact of proposed changes, and assess options with greater transparency and confidence. The result is a decision-support capability designed to keep operational expertise at the center while expanding the range of options teams can evaluate.

In a demonstration using a representative dataset of 40 aircraft and 116 trip demands over three days, FFAI’s highest-performing scenario identified 51 schedule changes and reduced projected operating costs by approximately $86,000, or 5.78%, from about $1.48 million to $1.40 million. Each scenario ran to completion in seconds.

“Operators are balancing cost, customer commitments, and aircraft availability in an increasingly dynamic environment,” said Roger Zhan, PhD, Founder and CEO of Floating Fleet AI. “Agentic scheduling gives teams the ability to evaluate more possibilities in less time and to see the operational and financial implications of each option. The AI informs the decision; the operator remains in control of what gets approved and implemented.”

By helping operators assess repositioning, aircraft upgrades, and departure flexibility together, the workflow supports decisions that can improve schedule efficiency and free capacity to serve more trips. It applies equally to home-base and floating-fleet operating models, and extends FFAI’s aircraft scheduling, crew assignment, and crew rostering capabilities with a more adaptive approach to planning.

The agentic scheduling workflow is available now to FFAI customers. Additional capabilities, including continuous re-optimization, are planned for release in Q1 2027.

See it live at NBAA-BACE booth 850

NBAA-BACE attendees can see the agentic scheduling workflow in action and speak with the FFAI team about their operation. Visit Floating Fleet AI at booth 850. To arrange a meeting, contact marketing@floatingfleet.ai or visit www.floatingfleet.ai.

About NewHydrogen, Inc.

NewHydrogen is developing ThermoLoop® – a breakthrough technology that uses water and heat to produce industrial-scale clean hydrogen. Hydrogen is important to modern life, and we can’t live without it. Hydrogen is the key ingredient in making fertilizers needed to grow food for the world. It is also used for transportation, refining oil and making steel, glass, pharmaceuticals and more. Nearly all the hydrogen today is made from hydrocarbons like coal, oil, and natural gas, which are dirty and limited resources. Water, on the other hand, is an abundant and renewable worldwide resource. Currently, the most common method of making clean hydrogen is to split water into oxygen and hydrogen with an electrolyzer, a very expensive process. By using heat directly, we can dramatically reduce the use of expensive electricity, and a massive source of inexpensive heat can be obtained from current and future power plants, especially small modular nuclear reactors. Working with a world class research team at UC Santa Barbara, our goal is to help usher in the clean hydrogen economy that Goldman Sachs estimated to have a future market value of $12 trillion.
