Apple has officially confirmed the schedule for its annual developer conference, announcing that WWDC 2026 will run from June 8 through June 12.
Similar to recent years, the event will primarily take place online and will be accessible to developers worldwide at no cost. The conference will kick off with Apple’s traditional keynote on June 8 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, where the company is expected to introduce the next generation of its software platforms, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.
In addition to the virtual format, Apple will host a limited in-person experience on opening day at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Selected attendees will have the opportunity to watch the keynote and State of the Union live, interact with Apple engineers, and explore the campus.

Participation in the on-site event will be determined through an application and lottery process. Eligible applicants include members of Apple’s developer programs, past participants of its entrepreneurship initiatives, and previous winners of student-focused coding challenges. Applications are open for a limited time, with selections to be announced shortly after.
Apple’s Swift Student Challenge, which invites young developers to showcase their coding skills, has already taken place earlier this year. Outstanding participants will receive special recognition, with top winners invited to Cupertino for an extended, multi-day experience.
Throughout the week, WWDC 2026 will feature a wide range of online sessions, technical labs, and workshops designed to help developers explore new features and integrate them into their applications. All sessions, including the keynote, will be available via Apple’s official platforms such as the Apple Developer app, its website, and YouTube.
More detailed information about the conference is expected to be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
