Taking place from September 30 to October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, iTECH EXPO 2026 is expected to feature nearly 100 exhibition booths, with a focus on semiconductors, AI, IoT, smart factories and Made-in-Vietnam technology solutions.

The Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association ( HCA), in collaboration with Alta Media and its strategic partners, has announced the International Technology Exhibition iTECH EXPO 2026.

Scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, at Queen Plaza Ky Hoa in Ho Chi Minh City, the event will be held under the theme “New Tech, Innovation Unleashed.”

The exhibition will focus on hardware, integrated circuits, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, IoT and technology solutions designed for manufacturing and business applications.

According to the organizers, iTECH EXPO 2026 has received support from Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, together with coordination from relevant municipal agencies and trade promotion organizations.

From a Technology Exhibition to a Business Connection Platform

First launched in 2024, iTECH EXPO has continued to expand its scale and reach. According to figures released by the organizers, the 2025 edition recorded more than 1,600 B2B and B2C business connections, representing an increase of approximately 60% year over year.

Visitor numbers exceeded 9,000, up 125% from the previous edition, while the event's media activities generated more than 22 million impressions.

These results provide the foundation for the organizers' target of achieving 10–20% growth in scale and overall effectiveness at the 2026 edition.

Rather than focusing solely on the number of exhibitors, iTECH EXPO is placing greater emphasis on the quality of business connections and the potential for practical cooperation between technology companies, partners and customers.

This year's exhibition is expected to feature nearly 100 booths from domestic and international companies. The exhibition floor will allocate more space to hardware, smart devices, chips, integrated circuits and semiconductor technologies.

One notable initiative is the Ho Chi Minh City Pavilion, jointly organized by HCA and the city's Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC).

The initiative is designed to give small and medium-sized enterprises additional opportunities to showcase their products, connect with potential partners and accelerate the commercialization of Made-in-Vietnam technology solutions.

Greater Focus on Semiconductors, Smart Factories and Green Technology

Alongside the exhibition floor, iTECH EXPO 2026 will feature a series of conferences, seminars and networking activities covering several strategic technology fields.

01 Integrated Circuits & Semiconductors
02 Smart Factories
03 Digital Cultural Technology
04 Cybersecurity
05 Circular Agriculture
06 Green Energy

Key topics will include integrated circuits and semiconductors, smart factories, digital cultural technology, cybersecurity, circular agriculture and green energy.

Through industry-focused forums, the organizers aim to create additional opportunities for Vietnamese technology companies to engage with international partners, explore new markets and participate more deeply in global technology supply chains.

Another priority highlighted by HCA is strengthening cooperation among provinces and cities across Vietnam's southern key economic region.

A dedicated forum for local science, technology and digital transformation authorities is expected to provide a platform for sharing experience, connecting technology needs and promoting technology transfer.

Bringing AI Into the Exhibition Experience

iTECH EXPO 2026 will not only showcase technology products but will also apply technology to the organization and visitor experience of the event itself.

The organizers plan to deploy an AI-powered real-time interpretation system to support visitors attending international conferences and seminars.

The Exhibitor App will also be upgraded to help participating companies manage networking activities and business connections more efficiently.

In addition, an interactive 360-degree digital environment will be introduced to expand the ways visitors can explore exhibition content.

According to Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association, the evolution of technology is increasingly bringing hardware and software together. Semiconductor computing power provides the foundation for AI, while software and applications turn that hardware capability into practical products and solutions.

From this perspective, HCA sees integrated circuits and semiconductors as strategic areas for expanding the integration of hardware and software.

The approach is intended to create greater opportunities for Vietnamese companies to develop technology products with higher levels of technological sophistication and added value.

Moving Beyond Scale Toward Deeper Industry Value

For iTECH EXPO 2026, the organizers say success will not be measured solely by the number of participating companies or visitors.

Instead, the focus will be on connecting the right stakeholders, encouraging meaningful partnerships and addressing practical challenges faced by businesses.

As Vietnam accelerates the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, iTECH EXPO is expected to serve as a meeting point for technology companies, government agencies, experts and international partners.

The event will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026, at Queen Plaza Ky Hoa in Ho Chi Minh City, with expanded exhibition space dedicated to hardware, semiconductors, AI, IoT and Made-in-Vietnam solutions.

Through this approach, iTECH EXPO 2026 aims to evolve beyond a conventional technology exhibition and become a platform for strengthening commercial partnerships and innovation between Vietnamese companies and international markets.
