Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra Specs Leak Ahead of Reported October Launch

Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra Specs Leak Ahead of Reported October Launch

20/09/2026Đô Nguyễn4 Mins Read

A new leak has reportedly revealed detailed specifications for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, including their displays, processors, memory configurations, cameras, and batteries. The two flagship tablets are expected to debut on October 7, 2026, in silver and gray.

Samsung is preparing to expand its premium tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. While earlier leaks have already pointed to details such as the processor and battery capacities, a new report has now provided a much more comprehensive look at what the two devices could offer.

According to specifications shared by WinFuture, both tablets will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (MT6993). However, the two models will differ in several areas, including display size, camera hardware, memory options, and audio systems.

Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra gets a 14.6-inch AMOLED display

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is reportedly equipped with a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display featuring a 2,800 x 1,752-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will reportedly feature a larger 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 2,960 x 1,848-pixel resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of memory, the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM, with storage configurations ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

Both models are also expected to retain a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand storage by up to 2TB. This could make the tablets particularly useful for users who regularly work with large media files, documents, or other data-intensive content.

Ultra model gets more cameras and speakers

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is reportedly equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 12MP front-facing camera. The Ultra model is expected to feature a dual-camera system on the back, combining a 13MP main sensor with an 8MP ultrawide camera. Its front camera is also expected to offer 12MP resolution.

Audio hardware will provide another distinction between the two tablets. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is said to feature two speakers, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could come with a four-speaker system.

Both devices are reportedly rated IP68 for protection against dust and water. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is also expected to ship with an S Pen, although the latest leak does not clearly indicate whether the stylus will be included with the Ultra model.

Larger battery for the Plus model

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is expected to feature a 10,600mAh battery, representing an increase from the 10,090mAh capacity reportedly used in its predecessor. Charging is said to remain capped at 45W.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, meanwhile, is reportedly retaining an 11,600mAh battery and 45W fast charging.

Despite its larger display, the Ultra model is expected to weigh 693 grams. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus could see a more noticeable change in portability, with its reported weight dropping from 571 grams on the previous generation to 555 grams.

Reported October 7 launch

According to the latest leak, Samsung could officially introduce the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra on October 7, 2026. Both tablets are expected to ship with One UI 9.0 and will reportedly be available in silver and gray.

European pricing is rumored to start at €1,299 for the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and €1,539 for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Samsung has yet to officially confirm the specifications, launch date, colors, or pricing, so these details should be treated as preliminary.

If the leaked specifications prove accurate, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will remain the more fully equipped model, combining a larger 14.6-inch display with up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage, four speakers, and a dual-camera system. The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus, meanwhile, could offer a lighter form factor while retaining a 120Hz AMOLED display, the Dimensity 9500 platform, and microSD expansion.
