FingerMotion’s New Management Highlights Strengthened Liquidity and Reduced Cash Burn in its First 30 Days

FingerMotion’s New Management Highlights Strengthened Liquidity and Reduced Cash Burn in its First 30 Days

In its initial month under the new team, the Company reports $5.1 million in cash on the balance sheet and an approximate 30% reduction in monthly cash burn

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FingerMotion, Inc. (Nasdaq: FNGR) (“FingerMotion” or the “Company”) today reported improvements completed in the first 30 days under new management, including strengthened liquidity, improved operating discipline, capital-markets activity, and a new strategic direction.

Liquidity

As of the date of this release, the Company reports:

  • Cash and cash equivalents of approximately $5.1 million.

The improved cash position reflects recent financing activity, including the Company’s registered direct offering completed on August 31, 2026, together with tighter working-capital management.

Operating efficiencies and cash burn

In its first 30 days, new management implemented a company-wide efficiency program focused on overhead, vendor spend, and non-core costs. FingerMotion also reduced monthly cash burn by nearly 30%. The Company intends to continue identifying additional cost and process improvements as it reallocates resources toward its North American enterprise compute strategy.

Termination of at-the-market (ATM) facility

The Company confirmed that it has terminated its at-the-market issuance sales agreement with R.F. Lafferty & Co., Inc., originally dated October 23, 2025. New management determined that, given current market conditions, terminating the ATM was prudent and consistent with a preference for more discrete, negotiated financings in the immediate term.

“Thirty days is a short window, and the team used it to implement a stronger foundation under this company,” said Jolie Kahn, Chief Executive Officer. “We have more cash on the balance sheet, we cut monthly burn by nearly 30 percent in our first month, and we terminated the legacy ATM. Those steps create operating room as we concentrate FingerMotion on North American compute infrastructure as the basis of our long term plan.”

Chris Polimeni, Chief Financial Officer, added: “In our initial month, the combination of approximately $5.1 million of unrestricted cash and a lower run-rate burn gives us a more durable near-term liquidity profile. We will evaluate future realignment with the same financial discipline—structure, consideration, working-capital effects, and residual liabilities— as we seek to commit to a path to strengthen the Company’s balance sheet and build shareholder value.”

About FingerMotion, Inc.

FingerMotion, Inc. (Nasdaq: FNGR) is a technology company historically focused on mobile payment, recharge, and data-analytics markets in the People’s Republic of China. Under current management, the Company is extending its strategy into enterprise AI and high-performance computing infrastructure in North America, including through its equity interest in Lyken AI Computing Inc., while evaluating a divestiture of its China operations.

Forward-Looking Statements

This press release contains forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, including statements regarding cash balances, restricted cash, cash-burn reductions, capital-markets strategy, the termination of the ATM facility, the planned divestiture of China operations, and the Company’s North American compute strategy. Forward-looking statements are based on current expectations and are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially, including the Company’s ability to sustain reduced cash burn, obtain additional capital on acceptable terms, complete any divestiture, execute its compute strategy, and the risks described in the Company’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including its most recent Annual Report on Form 10-K and subsequent Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q. The Company undertakes no obligation to update forward-looking statements except as required by law.

Thought Industries Launches Lens and Unveils Customer Knowledge AI Platform, Breaking the Knowledge Silos Holding Businesses and Their Customers Back

20/10/2026

Lens joins the Thought Industries Academy to form the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, turning fragmented customer and product knowledge into trusted guidance everywhere customers and AI agents look for answers

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Thought Industries today launched Lens, a first-of-its-kind AI product, and unveiled the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, creating a breakthrough way for businesses to help customers succeed with their products.

Customer and product leaders face a growing problem: customer knowledge lives in silos across systems and teams, while AI is now everywhere customers look for guidance. Every tool can answer fast. Not every tool answers right. When answers contradict each other or fall out of date, customers get stuck, trust erodes and product adoption slows, putting retention and growth at risk. That’s the exact challenge Thought Industries is solving with its new platform.

Unveiling the Customer Knowledge AI Platform

The Thought Industries Customer Knowledge AI Platform brings fragmented customer knowledge together so businesses can deliver trusted, accurate guidance wherever customers and AI agents need it. At the core of the platform is a proprietary governed AI knowledge layer that gives businesses visibility into what they know, the ability to reconcile conflicting or outdated information, and control over what can be trusted. It works quickly and proactively, before guidance reaches customers and AI agents across the systems businesses already use. Nothing to move. Nothing to rebuild.

Rather than relying on existing approaches alone –– such as MCP connectors, AI built into individual systems and other AI tools that primarily find and access existing information –– Thought Industries’ Customer Knowledge AI Platform breaks down knowledge silos across scattered sources, governing what customers and AI agents can rely on. That trusted and accurate guidance can then be delivered everywhere, while every interaction makes the knowledge behind the next one better.

“AI agents are only as smart as the context behind them. When every agent is working from a different version of product knowledge, they can simply spread wrong answers faster,” said Irana Wasti, CEO of Thought Industries. “AI made answers abundant. Now the problem is knowing what to trust when the sources don’t agree. Search and retrieval alone can find information, but they don’t resolve conflicts between sources. Our Customer Knowledge AI Platform does. When customers get what they need to succeed with a product, they use more, buy more and stay longer.”

Introducing Lens: AI Agents That Put Customer Knowledge to Work

To launch its Customer Knowledge AI platform, Thought Industries is introducing Lens, the first AI solution purpose-built to eliminate fragmented customer knowledge and accelerate product adoption. Powered by knowledge agents, Lens connects, governs and continuously improves customer knowledge, delivering trusted guidance and intelligent actions wherever customers and AI agents need them. Together with Thought Industries Academy, Lens is the pivotal AI solution needed to form the Customer Knowledge AI Platform and break the knowledge silos holding customers back, once and for all.

“Often the information a user is searching for lives in different systems, not just our courseware,” said Clyde Seepersad, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Education at The Linux Foundation. “We’re excited to put Lens to work. It will bring that knowledge together and make it useful wherever our customers are looking for help, including through AI. Most importantly, we maintain control over the information being surfaced while also learning from the questions customers are asking. That gives us a much clearer picture of what customers need, where they’re getting stuck and how we can help them get more value from our products.”

How Lens works:

  • Connect sources instantly. Lens instantly plugs into the knowledge sources businesses already have, from their academy and product documentation to the help center, blog and more. Those sources stay where they are. No technical projects needed.
  • Agents resolve and govern. Lens knowledge agents work across what businesses know about their customers, what customers need to know about the product, and what businesses learn from their questions. They surface contradictions, apply governance rules that users set in plain language and help keep guidance accurate and current as products change.
  • Deliver trusted guidance everywhere. Lens makes that guidance available wherever customers and AI agents acting for them need it –– whether inside the product, in the academy, through support, on the web or in their AI tool of choice. It adapts to the moment, from a quick reply or walkthrough to a video or deeper learning. Lens agents can also take the next step and complete workflows.
  • See and learn from every interaction. With Lens, customer questions don’t disappear into an AI black box. Every question and interaction feeds back into the knowledge layer, showing where customers are getting stuck, where gaps exist and how well answers are working. That helps improve what customers get next.

Together, these capabilities create a closed loop: every interaction improves the knowledge behind the next one.

With the launch of Lens and the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, Thought Industries is moving beyond traditional customer education to help businesses turn fragmented knowledge into a competitive advantage. By delivering trusted, intelligent guidance wherever customers learn, ask, and act, Thought Industries is helping businesses accelerate product adoption, deepen customer relationships, and drive growth through the success of their customers.

Lens is available now in Beta. To learn more about Lens and the Customer Knowledge AI Platform, please visit: www.thoughtindustries.com/lens

Monte Carlo Launches Bayes, an AI Teammate That Fixes Production AI Agents and Their Data

The agent trust platform delivers self-improving agents, so enterprises can scale trust at the speed of AI

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Monte Carlo, the leader in agent trust, today launched Bayes, an AI teammate that brings its platform capabilities into a single system to autonomously detect, troubleshoot, and fix issues across agents and the data they run on. Customers decide how much Bayes handles on its own, and agents improve with every fix.

Enterprises are deploying agents into production faster than they can keep them reliable. In a recent Deloitte survey, 70% of leaders said they don’t feel they can trust and govern their agents, and a 2026 Sinch study found that 74% of enterprises had rolled back or shut down a customer-facing AI agent after deploying it.

A typical AI engineer can keep only one to three agents and a handful of critical pipelines under real watch, as Monte Carlo has observed across its customer base. Every new deployment adds evaluation and debugging work existing teams can’t absorb. Trust erodes, scaling stalls, and AI ambitions go unrealized.

“It’s important for us to be able to monitor all dimensions of agent reliability including the context, behavior, and outputs,” said Shreye Saxena, Senior Data Scientist at Axios, a Monte Carlo customer. “If the injected data is incorrect, or if the trajectory is wrong and it produces a response without checking the database, then we’re not going to get the outcomes we need from our agent.”

Bayes provides the unlock. Acting as the central platform brain, it rapidly learns the unique landscape of a customer’s data and AI environment and deploys appropriate monitoring strategies. Like any new teammate, it takes on as much as the customer is ready to hand over — from a single task, like troubleshooting an alert, to a standing mandate to set up monitoring and triage, to executing fixes in the background.

Bayes covers the entire stack, from the outputs agents produce, up through the decisions they make, the context they retrieve, and ultimately all the way up to the data feeding them.

“Self-improving, autonomous agents are the holy grail every enterprise is chasing, but pulling it off has been elusive,” said Sanjeev Mohan, Principal, SanjMo, and former VP of Research at Gartner. “You have to see what agents actually do at runtime and trace it back through the system, all the way to the data. Monte Carlo has spent years on data observability and then agent observability, so Bayes feels like the next logical step. It builds trust from the data up, not the top down.”

Capabilities include:

  • Catching the agent failures real users hit in production, across traces and evals, without relying on golden datasets.
  • Taking action and resolving issues as they emerge. Bayes triages alerts directly and delivers agent fixes as draft pull requests or tickets for engineers to merge, then confirms the fix worked – so agents improve with every cycle.
  • Ensuring the data pipelines, tables, and products that agents depend on are reliable by autonomously configuring and tuning monitoring coverage based on what matters in each environment.
  • Working inside the tools engineers already use. Through MCP, the AI teammate connects to AI coding assistants and agent-first tools across the CI/CD pipeline, so resolutions execute directly within existing development workflows.

“Every enterprise wants more agents in production, and every one of them hits the same wall: there aren’t enough engineers to keep those agents trustworthy,” said Barr Moses, co-founder and CEO of Monte Carlo. “Bayes changes that math. It understands your agents and your data together, fixes what breaks, and gets better at your environment every day. Teams can now spend less time firefighting and more time shipping.”

Monte Carlo’s customers and partners are already seeing the impact, with Bayes helping enterprises detect 200% more incidents than their in-house systems, while flagging over 80% fewer false positive alerts.

Bayes also extends Monte Carlo’s partnership with Snowflake, which named Monte Carlo its 2026 Data & AI Governance Partner of the Year. Together, the two companies help joint customers build and run reliable agents on Snowflake.

“As enterprises put Cortex Agents into production across the AI Data Cloud, trust in both the agents and the data behind them is essential to realizing the value of AI,” said Venkat Suru, Principal Partner Solutions Engineer at Snowflake. “Snowflake provides a governed foundation for that work, and Monte Carlo extends that foundation to observe, fix, and continuously improve agents and the data that powers them. Bayes is an exciting next step in our partnership, helping joint customers scale trusted AI with confidence.”

Availability

Bayes is available today to Monte Carlo customers directly in the platform, in Slack, Microsoft Teams, and through MCP, so teams can work with it in the tools they already use. To learn more, visit montecarlo.ai.
