Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan to Deliver Keynote on the Future of AI Computing at COMPUTEX 2026

Intel’s CEO will outline the company’s strategic vision for AI-driven computing and the importance of ecosystem collaboration during a major keynote at COMPUTEX 2026 this June.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council, one of the key organizers behind COMPUTEX 2026, has officially announced that Lip-Bu Tan, Chief Executive Officer of Intel, will deliver a keynote address at this year’s event—one of the most influential technology exhibitions in the world.

Scheduled for June 2 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (Hall 2), Tan’s keynote is expected to outline Intel’s strategic vision for the future of computing in an era increasingly defined by artificial intelligence. As AI continues to transform industries at every level, the session will focus on how advancements across silicon design, system architecture, and software innovation are converging to unlock new levels of performance, efficiency, and scalability.

A central theme of the presentation will be the role of ecosystem collaboration. Intel is expected to highlight how partnerships across the technology landscape—from hardware manufacturers to software developers—are accelerating innovation and enabling more complex, heterogeneous computing environments. These systems, which combine multiple types of processors and architectures, are becoming essential to meeting the demands of modern AI workloads.

COMPUTEX has long served as a global platform where industry leaders, innovators, and partners come together to showcase breakthroughs shaping the future of technology. Tan’s keynote will offer attendees a deeper look into how coordinated efforts across the ecosystem are driving the next wave of computing transformation, while also opening up new opportunities for businesses and developers worldwide.

Registration for the keynote session is expected to open in mid-April, with further details to be announced through official event channels.

This year’s COMPUTEX will take place from June 2 to June 5 under the theme “AI Together,” spanning multiple venues across Taipei, including the Nangang Exhibition Center, the Taipei World Trade Center, and the Taipei International Convention Center. The event is projected to host around 1,500 exhibitors across approximately 6,000 booths, covering key areas such as AI & Computing, Robotics & Mobility, and next-generation technologies.

Since its founding in 1981, COMPUTEX has evolved alongside the global ICT industry, becoming a benchmark event that attracts tens of thousands of international buyers each year. It remains a preferred launch platform for leading companies introducing breakthrough innovations.

TAITRA, established in 1970, plays a central role in organizing the event. As Taiwan’s leading nonprofit trade promotion organization, it supports businesses in expanding their global presence through a broad network of offices and partnerships worldwide. Through initiatives like COMPUTEX, TAITRA continues to strengthen Taiwan’s position as a critical hub in the global technology ecosystem.
